                                                                        - Divorce Mediation Client, Warrenton, VA

Thanks again for meeting with us yesterday. We greatly appreciate your perception and willingness to listen and ask for clarification. Obviously this is a difficult time for us and your calm demeanor is very helpful.– Divorce Mediation Client, Warrenton, VA
Things are going well, largely due to the excellent separation agreement you helped us to put together. We are now 18 months along, in a stable arrangement, and the last remaining step is the court filing.– Divorce Mediation Client, Manassas, VA
Thank you so much for your service! It has been a pleasure to work with you. I appreciate your wisdom and insight, your assistance and your patience!– Warrenton, VA Divorce Mediation Client
Thank you for everything. I will be referring my friends to you. Best Regards!– Fairfax, VA Divorce Mediation Client
Our unique situation won't be well addressed by the Court. This process [mediation] gives us control over our decisions.– Northern Virginia Divorce Mediation Client
My husband and I thought about mediation during a rough spot and he introduced me to your radio shows. We actually resolved things, in part I believe because we were both listening to your broadcasts and trying to follow your advice.– Jennifer B., Washington D.C., Divorce Mediation: Myths & Facts Listener
I have known Philip Mulford on a professional basis for a number of years, spanning both his career as an attorney and as a mediator. He was the consummate professional as an attorney, and he provided creative and thoughtful solutions to problems that other attorneys could not solve. As a mediator, he provides that same level of creativity and thoughtfulness to solving the problems and issues his clients face. Further, with his background as an attorney familiar with complex statutes and regulations, he provides a unique service that gives his clients a comprehensive service encompassing the necessary legal complexities as well as help in reaching peaceful resolutions.

I routinely recommend Mr. Mulford to my clients who may need his services, and I always feel that he will do the absolute best job for them.– Bill Brownley, Attorney, Fairfax VA
Wonderful to work with you on it instead of in the courts and with attorneys that fight over things - would have been a nightmare.– Divorce Mediation Client, Northern Virginia
Our financial assets included various investment accounts with stock, bond and mutual fund holdings as well as employer stock options. Mr. Mulford's familiarity with and knowledge of those types of investments greatly facilitated our efforts in dividing them fairly.– Divorce Mediation Client, Northern Virginia
My attorney reviewed an agreement you had written for a client and said it was the most professional agreement he had ever seen and recommended I contact you to mediate my divorce.– Divorce Mediation Client, Northern Virginia
Mulford does have a calming presence about him. He's low-key and soft spoken, but he appears to have strength behind the soft veneer. He speaks of mediation with a passion that reveals his prolific mediation background.– Bull Run Observer Newspaper
I have a tendency to clam up around my husband and agree with him, so we don’t argue. My lawyer told me not to worry; that you know how to handle this situation.– Divorce Mediation Client, Northern Virginia
I appreciate your leadership, and organization, thoroughness, professionalism, personality and demeanor. I have dealt with tens of thousands of people in my profession and private life over 38 years. I have never met anyone nicer or more pleasant than you Mr. Mulford. Keep up the great work and best wishes to you and your family.– Divorce Mediation Client
I couldn’t help but think that on today’s show (January 4, 2007,"It's Never Too Early to Mediate") you were describing MANY MANY people’s marriages. I know you were addressing this point today, but I think it’s a shame people don’t use mediation earlier in the stages to avoid divorce. Actually what I was thinking during the show is that people should be required to take communication training as a prerequisite to a marriage license.– Northern Virginia Listener to Divorce Mediation: Myths & Facts
I came in with the idea that I had already lost everything, instead I left with a solved problem and better a understanding of how to solve and even prevent further problems.– Divorce Mediation Client
Thank you for getting this all done in a timely fashion. As stressful as this has all been, I just wanted you to know that I feel that you helped very much (you are very good at what you do).– Divorce Mediation Client
Even though I am still in a place of uncertainty, I want you to know that I am not that state of fear I was when I called you. I am more confident that there are resources for me, and paths to take to be able to care for myself.– Divorce Mediation Client
